Some people are optimists. Others are pessimists. I think grandma is a combination pessimist, realist, and loud mouth.
At the end of the day, I reminded one of my cherubs to have his grandma or mom check his folder. Papers never seem to come out of it. Homework, report card, information, you name it.
I also asked who was picking him up. He told me it was his grandma and I quote "she's picking me up until mommy gets fired from her job."
Ouch!
