Well, after much heart ache and mistakes, I've come to realize the only one who will EVER fit that description is my God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Problem is, He isn't here physically for me like I'd like Him to be. Certainly sometimes I get the privilege of seeing Him through someone's words or actions, but not in the immediacy of a moment, when I feel like I need Him. So, the second closest I get to my description of a best friend is my husband. But I've also learned he simply isn't my savior, nor do I want him to be.
